Power System: Operational and Market Security

About the Conference

SEBOR – Power System: Operational and Market Security is a scientific and technical conference devoted to the most important challenges facing modern power engineering, with particular emphasis on issues related to the operational and market security of the National Power System.

The event provides a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience and views among representatives of the scientific community, public administration, system operators, energy-sector companies and industry experts. The conference programme includes papers, expert presentations and panel discussions devoted to current issues, development directions and practical aspects of the operation of the power sector.

The first edition of the SEBOR Conference was held on 17–19 March 2026 in Kazimierz Dolny on the Vistula and attracted considerable interest from participants, confirming the need to continue substantive debate on the security and future of the power system.

The second edition of the SEBOR Conference will be held on 6–8 April 2027, once again in Kazimierz Dolny on the Vistula.

The programme partner and co-organiser of the conference is the Institute of Power Engineering – National Research Institute, Gdańsk Division, while the substantive partners are Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A. and Agencja Rynku Energii S.A. The technical organisation of the event is provided by Lublin University of Technology and the Lublin Branch of the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers.

The SEBOR Conference is a meeting place for science and practice — a forum for reliable, expert discussion on the security, reliability and development of the power system in Poland.
